You can sign up and start creating your events for free, without needing to provide credit card information. You will only need to make a payment closer to the event date to unlock your event page. Until you make a payment, 4 viewers will be allowed to access the event at a time. This will allow you to organize demos for your potential clients.
Your event page will become active as soon as you start a subscription. Our event based subscriptions work on a weekly basis, which means your event page will be active during the next 7 days following the purchase. If you don't cancel your subscription before the next billing date it will be automatically renewed.
Please get in touch with us if your project requires a subscription for an extended time or if you are planning to activate multiple events simultaneously for a breakout room scenario.
When you end your subscription, your current plan will remain active until the next billing date. At that date your event page will be deactivated and your viewers will not be able to access it anymore. You will still have access to your dashboard and view statistics and other data related to your event. At a later date you can purchase a new subscription and run your event again. Events that are inactive for six months will be removed from the system.
In addition to the ones above, we also have plans for 2000 and 5000 viewers. These plans are listed in the dashboard's subscriptions page. If you need to run an event for an audience size larger than 5000 please get in touch with us by sending an email to connect@livecastmedia.com.
You can host up to 4 events at a time. In order to make an event page active you will need to start a subscription for that event. Separete events will require separate subscriptions. If you need to create more than 4 events please get in touch with us at connect@livecastmedia.com.
If you use a Livecast Media RTMP channel to distribute your live stream, a high quality MP4 file will be available on the dashboard after the session. If you use an external service provider for RTMP streaming such as Vimeo, you will need to download the videos on their website.
We certainly do. You can simulate breakout rooms by creating multiple events and linking them to each other. Each event will represent a different breakout room. Your viewers will be able to navigate between these events. Get in touch with our team to receive your discount code if you want to activate multiple events for this purpose.
Using premium features such as RTMP channels or virtual simultaneous translation booths requires additional payment. These payments are handled through stream credits that should be purchased in advance. For instance, RTMP channel usage is calculated based on your event's capacity and the broadcast's duration. This amount is then deducted from your existing credits. Similarly, in order to activate a virtual simultaneous translation booth you will need to have credits in your account. Credits remain active for 1 year following the date of purchase.
We support multiple vendors. Your live or on demand video can be hosted on YouTube, Facebook, Livestream, Vimeo or DaCast. All you need to do is to copy and paste the embeddable iframe code of your video and you are ready to go! Of course, you can use Livecast Media's own RTMP channels to distribute your live content as well.
Yes, you can create several admin accounts so your team members can access the management console and run their individual tasks. One team member may be running the slide show while another one is approving the incoming viewer questions. Livecast Media's powerful virtual event engine has several features to help your team run live streamed events with ease.
